Now is the time of the autumnx equinox. I think it may have been sept 23rd, my UU church held a beautiful ceremony for the equinox. The length of day and night is equal now - so a time of balance for the earth. Although, I dont feel balanced. And, we are headed into more night than day, also known as winter.
I can't think of anything more stressful to me than freeway driving with other cars and particularly large trucks going 70 mph or more. Its more stressful than seeing a bear on the trail in front of me or wondering if that man walking behind me is up to no good. The solution that often works for me is to look right at the object of my fear. With a large truck next to me, if I focus on the front wheel closest to me, It allows me to read their intention. If they are thinking about turning into my lane, the wheel will turn slightly. As a single woman around town, I use something similar to spot intentions of men on the street. I read this on the internet. look at their eyes. Where are they gazing? I have found they are almost always gazing straight ahead or at their companion. Rarely, are they gazing at me. so, I now know it to be true that, if someone is thinking about jumping me, they will inadvertantly, against their own will, they will look at me. The eyes reveal their intention, just like the front wheel of the semi drug reveals the intention of the driver. So, looking right at the fear, calms me. Is this similar to what you have found?
What? Listen first? How’d you get so wise?
Pls (pretty please) enlighten us with a bit of wisdom about patience! 🙏
I’ve never heard of solar and lunar instead of masculine and feminine and I love it ❤️
“Our bodies, our emotions, our stress responses don’t need solutions. They need to be heard.” BOOM! I learned so much from this post! Thanks Leona! ❤️
